Depends on how shy he is and if he's getting strong enough signals from the girl that she's interested.

Time will only tell that. But I think it's best to make sure you'd really actually like to date him or her first and make sure they're your type and a good friend and all and when those questions are answered then heck ya go for it ask him or her out.

Weeks if he is shy, actually the longer, the more he likes you i think.

depends on YOU.
if you gave him no signs that you might like him back, it's possible that he might've given up already if he is shy.

depends on the guy...but if you r pretty sure he likes you but he hasnt said ne thing maybe he feels uncomfortable.....tell him about yur feelings and maybe he will confess.....
