Also, if she has not used drugs in a while how far back will it trace them in her system?

yeah, saliva tests do work...they use them for new employees at publix so I'm pretty sure they do. I'm not sure how far back it will trace though. Probably about as far back as a piss test would. Testing her hair is going to show if she's ever done drugs because it stays in your hair folicles for a LONG time...but i wouldn't do a hair test b/c she may have tried drugs, but that doesn't mean that she's still on them. u don't want to punish her for trying a drug one time b/c all teens do some kind of experimenting whether w/ drugs or other stuff when they're younger.

Hair works better, plus it's much easier to get. Certain drugs like marijuana will stay in the body for a fairly long period of time. Meth however, can be purged from the body in a realitively short amount of time. I would take some hair from her hairbrush, or clothes she has recently worn. Be wary of the cost for that kind of test though.

They work for drugs that have been recently taken...Why dont you simply ask her if she does drugs? It will clear up the situation and you wont have to go to any extreme measures. She will also react differently if you ask her to tell you, rather than asking her to take a test. Maybe you should take some time and have a meaningful talk with her.

pee test, 24 hrs. hair test but it can pop positive if your around other druggies, like the smoke or powder.Why don't you go sneak in her room and find out. My step dad used to do that to me but anyways I got in trouble for reading certain books, ya really sad there. But that was 10 ys ago. I can to the conclusion as an adult, married with kids that they can read what they want!

The best test is where they take a strand of hair...very accurate and can date back far but its very expensive...

You're better off doing a hair test. It can tell you how long ago she took them and what kind. Expensive though.

Test the Hair after testing blood.saliva test will not help.

you can have a strand of her hair tested. It stays in the hair for much longer.
