This guy I really really like told me he recently told me that he likes me too. Last year we wrote back and forth, but I had to quit because of some personal stuff. I still liked him, I just couldn't write; he didn't know that and got really upset. Within one month he had another girlfriend. She dropped him cold in a very viscous way. This year he finally found out the real reason I had to quit writing and everything worked out. Now we both like eachother and he's really sweet to me. We're writing again. Last night to play a kind of joke my best friend called him and I was listening but he didn't know it...ya, uh-oh. She asked him if he liked this other girl who is a very good friend of mine. He hesitated and said that he did. He said she was funny and fun to be around, but that they were just friends. She asked if he still liked me and he immediately said yes, but...How can he like us both? He's sensitive so I don't want to confront him. I don't want a repeat of last year. What to do?

I only say that because he said that he likes her because she's funny and fun to be around "but they are just friends".

Be happy with that, get close to him, make him like you if that's what you want. Give him reason to want you more than her, if you're in the picture and you were there first then your friend will understand and walk away or continue to see him behind your back.
You're going to have to gamble on this one, but my advice is to be such a great girl to him and you'll charm him.

Okay. Look. I'm not trying to take sides, but it's not his fault that he likes two girls. I mean... haven't you ever liked more than one guy at once? He's not committed to anyone, so he has the right to like more than one person. If you really like him, then you can try & win all of his heart. Become the only girl he wants! Be yourself & put yourself out there. Make him notice you & no one else. But if you don't like him a lot, then just forget about him. You can find someone else who likes you & only you.

The fact that ya'll did the 3 way thing will turn him off. If he likes you and is pursuing you and not your friend dont worry about it. Its just like he may introduce you to one of his friends that you may find attractive although you wouldnt pursue his friend. Stop playing games with men if you want them to take you seriously.
