i am taking my boi friend with me to my root canal i talked to my dentist about my dental fears and he said it would be a good idea to bring someone with me so he is allowed to come back and sit beside me and hold my hand and stuff but i am afaird ill act all stupid because i will be sedated .. do you think its a good idea to have him there with me?.... btw he is very supportive and comforting

bring him, specially if he is supportive and comforting. Obviously he cares about you, if he is willing to come with you to the dentist. And no matter how much gas you gonna have you are stiil pretty much in control of yourself.

when you are sedated, you will act goofy. but if he is truly a good boyfriend then he wont think anything of it. though he may laugh, its only natural. anyone would (I did when my own sister was sedated) but I don't think anything different of her

i think you should bring him because if he truly loves you then he would know that you were just being kinda weird since you were sedated.

why are you worried? who cares if you do. youre bf should love you no matter what you act like (while youre sudated that is)

the meds should not effect you that much it makes your mouth feel funny.
