#2 - Pay attention to the order of operations

1. First do all operations that lie inside parentheses.
2. Next, do any work with exponents or radicals.
3. Working from left to right, do all multiplication and division.
4. Finally, working from left to right, do all addition and subtraction.

#7 - Distribute the negative and then multiply through (hint: you'll have something like 14c^2....)

Good luck!

For order of operations, here is a memory aid--
"Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally". First letter of each word:
"P"--parentheses are always dealt with first
"E"--exponents next
"M" and "D"--multiplication and division--in order of where they appear
"A" and "S"--addition and subtraction--also in order of where they appear. So, remember PEMDAS will help.
