i have one maine coon mix and one tabby and one calico i love the temperment of the maine coon and would like to get an older cat that is not too expensive help me out someone in houston or near abouts

I used to foster for these orgs and have also adopted from them. They have _tons_ of cats, so I'm sure you could locate a Maine Coon.

I'm not in Texas, but I do love Maine Coon cats and have some of my own way up north here in Wisconsin. Once in a while I do see Maine Coons available at the Humane Society. Try there - even if it's a Maine Coon mix you would probably still get the temperament and vocals that you enjoy with Maines. They are fantastic cats and I understand why you love them so much!
