As a teen-ager in high school, I remember teachers providing extra credit to those of us to chose to write to military personal serving in Desert Storm. Today as an adult, with the holidays approaching I want to do something for our troops stationed overseas. I know how much receiving letters, notes, and cards in the mail means to me. I would like to do this for our service men and women. If anyone has any ideas how I should go about this please let me know. Thanks for all of your help.

There's http://www.operationmilitarysupport.com/index2.html
which usually send their letters to deployed troops;
http://www.iss.k12.nc.us/tech/milwrite.htm has an address that you can send cards, letters, or small gifts to recovering american soldiers;
http://anysoldier.com/ has specifics about what you can send, and links to anysailor, anymarine, anyairman, and anycoastguard.

google is your friend :D

Hey guys...thank you for wanting to write to the men and women who are over there. My husband received several letters from people just like you. My son's classes just sent off letters and cards to Walter Reed Medical Center for the recuperating soldiers.

Call your local reserve center and ask them for an exact APO for any units. If they do not have anyone deployed then ask them how to get an address.

Good luck, thank you and take care!
