My boyfriend has a Maine license, and he got a speeding ticket in New Hampshire, and got summoned to court for it. Can they take away his Maine license? He was going 91 mph.

Yes his license can be suspended if he does not satisfy it. Most of the 48 continental states have a "pact" that will honor a suspension from another state. It usually takes a little longer for the suspension to happen this way, but it will still happen.

As for the previous answer of Reckless Driving: the state in which I work would not consider that Reckless Driving. There has to be more factors when charging someone with Reckless Driving, not just speeding.

If your boyfriend's court date has not passed, tell him to go to court. It might be a good idea for him to take a driving class, if the court system there offers it. If he can take a class, there is a possibility this citation will not go on his insurance record.

91 mph would be a "wreck-less driving" ticket. Most states now days 'reciprocate' meaning they will honor suspensions from other states. He's better off just paying the ticket, because if he's caught driving in NH he'll be arrested for Failure to Appear and probably Driving on Suspended at that point....

No, but the state you violated in can recommend to your state that they do. Most states will give that courtesy to the other.

It's possible. Tell him to take care of it.
