im going out with this girl who wants me to take her last name, she is in law school and wants to be the breadwinner too. do women like this idea?

No, I wouldn't think he's a wuss.
I generally demand to wear the pants.

However, taking her last name is a completely personal choice.

No , the man needs to take that stand , that also turns women on, some times , (the women where the pants ),That tells women that you can not handle it in the house hold .

I think it should be mutual. But that's just me. I think everything between a relationship should be mutual and fair. If you like her ideas and are okay with it and want to do them, then do what you like. I just hate it when people try to control eachother.

I dont think anyone should wear the pants in the relationship because it is a joint thing. Both of your should make your decisions TOGETHER.

i think relationships should be that each one has a pants leg, that things can be compromised on if you are partners

personally I would rather take my guys last name but if she wants you to have her last name tell her how you feel and make sure its what you want if it does come to you taking her name.
