Why if ASPARTAME is a poision does the US government put ASPARTAME in over 6,000 products that American's use?

I don't trust the stuff-I never did. I never used it and I won't let my children either. I am happy to know that someone else in the world thinks about it too. Nice to know Im not alone. I have noticed an increase in mental illness about when it hit the market,so I won't touch it.

1. Aspartame is not a "poision". It's not a poison, either. Your initial premise is false.
2. The US government does not put it in anything. The US government does not manufacture foods.

Man. Where did you get THIS? Where does it say that Aspartame is poison? Please post the link for that. And where did you get that the GOVERNMENT is putting it in 6,00 products? I thought it was companies?? This I have got to read.

the government does not control what we put into our mouths.
Be informed and don't buy what you don't want to eat.
Simple as that- we are responsible for ourselves- not the governent.
