I expect nothing.
I have asked that anything that was to be spent on me, be spent on others.
I grew up a long time ago and realized that there was more to life than what I could get out of it. I have since asked that my Christmas be given to those far worse off than myself and those who can not afford to have a Christmas for their children.

I've asked for nothing, and that is what I shall receive. It's what I get every year. What I want is for those I love to have a happy holiday, and for those I don't know to do the same.

The only thing I "expect" is a hug & a kiss from my wife. If people want to give me material gifts, more power to them.

I know I'm getting an exercises mat, and some other basic equipment, so I can do physical therapy at home. (yeah, my husband and I never do manage to keep our gifts for each other secret).
