There is a prophetic statement in Sahih Bukhary that prophet Muhammed captured the leader of a Jewish tribe (with the name Kenana Ibn Al Rabie) and tortured him to tell Muslims about a treasure he was hiding. After torturing the man, prophet Muhammed KILLED him and enslaved his wife (her name was Safeya).

After a few hours of killing the man, in his way back from the battlefield, prophet Muhammed proposed the new widow for marriage and he really married her after FEW HOURS from killing her husband, father and her whole family.

I was shocked to read that story because I ahve always thought that prophet Muhammed was a real GENTLEMAN with high morals. Was it ethical from him to marry a woman a few hours after killing her whole family?

The Quran says one can do that. It IS in the book. Unless Muslims are saying the book lies!

At the earliest time in history lots of things like that did happen during the formation of Islam. The Jews and wealthy people that lives around Medina area refused to accept Muhammed and his new religion even when he accepted to incorporate some parts of Jewish practises into Islam for the Jews to feel comfortable worshipping with them.

The Jews still refused and saw Muhammed and his follows as low class citizen. Muhammed's follows were really hungry and dying of starvation. He had no option rather than to resort to violence in order for his followers to survive. He started fighting all the cities around him for food. The cities that he captured they followers would take their properties and the women and kill all the men.

This particular act of lotting and fighting in other to lot and take the women are still very prevalent in Islamic religion in some parts of the world. I have experienced that and can talk with authority on this. It's a pity but this was and act of violence started by the prophet so that his earlies followers can survive and not die of hunger and starvation, the followers later started enjoying it and over doing it.

yes I read that too. and that's not all. He beheaded 600 Jewish men was even helping to dig a mass grave. He forced his soninlaw to divorce his wife and married her himself. He married a little girl at 6. He ordered ppl to be stoned, cut off hands and feet. And you know what? Muslims take him as a role model!

God made a new covenant of peace with us. With Jesus all the cruelty of the old testament stopped. He was loving and kind, never killed anyone.
Mohammed did all these cruel things in the name of Allah. What reason would God have to come back and take people years back to darkness? He would have been schizophrenic!

You were shocked? King David did the same thing. He fell for Bathsheba so had her husband Uriah placed at the front lines where he could get killed more easily. He died and David got the piece of @ss.

Now, what were you saying?
