I've heard them say as young as 8 weeks. My vet recommended 6 months so I went with him. If you notice signs of heat(constant meowing, rubbing her bottom against things and people, trying to get outside) before 6 months, go ahead and have it done. Cats can start heat as early as 4 months old. Good luck!

You can get a cat neutered already at the age of 6 weeks. Cats do NOT have to be in heat before they are neutered. Talk to your vet.

Ask your vet and go with that. Dont wait to long or you will have to deal with a cat in heat and they are LOUD and quite annoying. Not to mention you could then end up with kittens if she gets out of the house.

cats can be spayed or neutered at 4-6 months old. Sometimes vets will spay and neuter earlier. Ask your vet for their protocal
