I want one with a harddrive not minidvd. What's your thoughts?

I know 350 will not get you anything special you may want to add $150-$250 more to your budget. I am going to be getting a camera some day too. I do not know what to look for but try to get one with good picture.

From some online store you can get a sony baseline model ..which is a good deal....
or if you add few more dollars...$50 / $100.. you can get a little upgraded version of sony with the memory stick.

Go to www.cnet.com they have the latest reviews on all electronic gadgets including camcorders. I bought a Sony camcorder that I'm really happy with for about $400. It received good reviews by the site and was the right price for me.
