I don't recall see any goose sold for meat anywhere. Do they sell goose for meat in california ?

Better (meaning, more expensive) grocery stores and butcher shops sell them. We had goose many times when we lived in California. They will almost certainly be frozen.
I was holding a frozen goose in my hand at the market here in Oregon only yesterday, but it won't do you much good...

no i dont think so... but i know for sure they sell geese..
