Rule of thumb!

You eat 6 small meals a day 3 main and 3 snacks.

Drink Vinegar with meals, apple cider or any you can find,

Main meal portion size, no bigger than the palm of your hand, doesn't include fingers, just palm.

Exercise brisk power walk 2 X 15 minutes each day weekends free.

Cut down on bread, rice, butter, and fried foods, eat more veg.

Guaranteed to lose weight!

I swear by Weight Watchers.

Take it for a few weeks since its expensive and acquire all the tools and learn what its about.

It is more about learning how to eat and portion control rather then eating only specific foods, which is really what you need because once you get to your desired weight if you get off the diet you'll just gain it again.

I never once felt deprived on weight watchers because you can have whatever you want, just in moderation.

Once you feel comfortable doing it on your own, you dont have to keep going. I've lost a total of 37 pounds and i've kept if off. I dont count points anymore, i've just learned how to eat smaller portions and pick healthier snacks!

Yup. I lost over 20 pounds in 4 weeks and have successfully kept it off on The Abs Diet. It beats Atkins because it doesn't require you to restrict entire food groups, and it beats Weight Watchers because it doesn't force you to count calories or figure out a complicated "exchange" system. Best of all, it's 100% safe and it's a common-sense approach to diet and exercise that doesn't require you to make exotic meals with hard-to-find ingredients. You also get one "cheat meal" per week, and you're allowed to have your occasional small desserts. You can find the book at any major book store, and it's hard to miss -- the cover is bright orange. Definitely worth checking out.

I lost 198 lbs in 1 year on the Kimkins diet over 5 years ago. You can also see Natalie's story below, she lost 85 lbs in 5 months.

Kimkins is regular food, no pills, no supplements, excellent support from other members.

When I was modeling I always used the Atkins Diet, which worked fast and effectively. It is the most effective diet for toning troublesome areas. Just keep the proteins (meat) higher than the carbs. No sugars, no starches. I never used it strict but even keeping the protein ratio higher helped immensly.

I'm a nurse. I became a vegan. Also you should eliminate the foods that you eat that you know isn't healthy for you. And you can move. Any form of movement is a form of exercise, even dancing to your favorite songs. Try to come up with a plan and stick to it, and in no time you will have the desired results you were looking for.

MAY I SUGGEST THE ATKINS DIET. I HAVE LOST 60 LBS IN 6 MONTHS AND I NEVER GO HUNGRY OR ENERGY LESS. I HAVE 6 KIDS AND WEIGH 145 LBS BECAUSE OF THIS GREAT DIET. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO EAT MEAT, EGGS, CHEESE, GREEN VEGGIES, SALADS AND MORE! WITHIN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS YOU ARE ALLOWED A TOTAL OF 15 CARBS PER DAY. I PROMISE THAT YOU WILL DROP AT LEAST 10 LBS IN THAT TIME PERIOD. YOU WILL HAVE MORE ENERGY THAN EVER. IT HELPS STOP HEADACHES, CRAVINGS, AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING ANY DIET. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ON THIS.

weight watchers works, it's a program that teaches you a healthy lifestyle and you use your own foods, it incorporates exercise. you can go to meetings, they have an on line program and a program you can buy for at home. It costs but it's worth it.
