I'm 5'4 and 110 pounds and a size 00. I hate being as thin as I am and no im not anorexic, I have a high metabolism. I eat healthy and work out just to stay toned so dont tell me to eat junk food because I want to still eat healthy. I dont know if it works but I've heard ensure drinks work? I just want to gain weight in a healthy way so if anyone knows if it works or any other weight gaining strategies Id appreciate it.

I'd talk to a nutrionist before anything. How old are you? I was 5'3" and about 100lbs all throughout high school and most of college. My senior year I started gaining weight and I'm at about 135lbs now. I'm the happiest I've ever been with my body and I didn't change anything in my diet or behaviour. As you get older, your metabolism will naturally slow down. One day you might miss your fast metabolism! ;)

i'm 24, 5'10 and 120, i'm not skinny, skinny but i am a little underweight for my height. i don't know if you can see my pic very clearly but thats me at 120 and in pretty good muscle shape. i do workout and do yoga which keeps my muscles toned which make me look more filled out. all i do is eat protein and carbs...and sometimes i feel like i am eating constantly. i saw someone on here said something about creatine...i've always heard bad things about it so if you consider that yeah ask your doc first. i know there are shots doc's can give to if you ask. i've always had a hard time gaining and keeping weight on...i can drop 5 lbs. or more when i'm sick or if i don't keep up my eating...i know a lot of ppl think wow that would be great but you and i both know its a pain sometimes.. personally i would suggest you ask your doc first. those high protein and carbs drinks do help though. there are some high calorie ones i think...anyway, good luck and hang in there.

Ensure will put weight on you. I have a cousin who is the same way that you are and the doctor had her drinking 3 of these a day.along with her regular eating plan.
She has put on 10 pounds and looks great at 127 and she is also 5'4".

i had the same problem and i wanted to keep in shape so i do power walking which also burns calories ! one thing i did try but i asked my doc first was creatine he said as long as i didn't gain weight too quickly it was safe. the problem is too i eat healthy and a lot and it seems sometimes like i am eating 24/7...i have a high metabolism too but have had my thyroid tested and nothing is wrong with it. i know it frustrating but see if something like creatine or protein shakes will help...add them to your diet don't replace anything. also i do pilates which really helps with muscle tone. i know it sucks to be thin but my sister has the opposite problem she's very overweight but eats healthy, works out and can't seem to lose a pound and she says that sucks too. i guess we just got to be happy with who we are....hang in there

Get some weight gainer at a fitness store. Drink a shake or two a day. It tastes like crap but you can mix it with milk/Chocolate milk.

5'4" 110lbs is not too skinny...the minimun healthiest weight for 5'4" is around 105lbs...I think....because I'm 5'4" 112lb and still trying to loose 5 to 10 more lbs. You are okay...you are not too skinny...if anything, everybody else is overweight :)
