Yahweh and Allah are not the same God. In the Koran, Allah is defined as the god that is not the God of the Jews or the God of the Christians. This seperates the two rather distinctly.

Don't think it's the Godhead that's an issue, but rather the proprietary dogmas of each persuasion. However, bear in mind that fundamentalist Christianity believe that Jesus is God, whereas Judaism and Islam believe he was a mere prophet. And this runs up against the Messiahship of Jesus which is a basic core of Christianity.

Great question. It's kind of like if you say, my favorite President was "President Bush." Then I say, "Which one?" Then you say, "George Bush." Then I say, "Which one?" Then you say, the one who said, "Read my lips . . . no new taxes!" Now I know who you're talking about.

In these two religions, God is not an abstract concept, but a person with characteristics and personality and attributes. The difference between the two religions is not just how God is named, but WHO he is and WHAT they claim he is responsible for doing.

While Muslims purport "Allah is God, and Mohammed is his prophet" (and that Jesus was simply a prophet), Christians counter claim, saying "Jehovah is God, and Jesus is His Son" (and that Mohammed was a false prophet). So you have two mutually exclusive claims, making it a description of two different personalities, therefore two competing gods.

If you have two mutually exclusive claims, only one can be true. It is a good thing when we can have a discussion about these things instead of fighting about them or saying, "whatever works for you." Does this help?

There is only One True God... Jesus is the creator of all..read John 1:1-3.... Allah is a made up entity not related in any way to The One True God.

Jewish faith says the Savior has not arived yet.

Christians Say Jesus is the Savior

Muslims Beleave Mohamid was the Savior.

However I know the facts behind it and the historical records. Mohamid(spl) came along 400 years after the Death of Christ and started telling everyone. "Jesus was a Fause Savior I'm the True Savior. God spoke to me and told me.... blah blah blah......." the thing is History tells us that no proof of Mohomid's story was ever given but Proof of the Christian side of things has been Given Both in Historical Records Found in Roman artifacts and in the Holy Bible.

Seriously, The fight revolves around man's own understanding of GOD'S word. As it is written: "do not lean onto your own understanding." As long as man leans unto their own understanding, which leads to the creation of an idea about.

There will always be fighting!

Yahweh and Allah are not the same.

Allah is a moon god from a pagan pre-Islam religion.
