I'm 15, and I met this guy off of myspace. He is 20. I liked him last year on myspace. He lives in CA, and I live in Vancouver Washington (above Oregon). I let him go last year due to a guy at my school that I liked. Doing that, was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. He's a record labelest and him and his band (This City is Burning) is on tour. And in March they are going to be pretty close in my area. In Tacoma, Spokane and Seattle. The closest one is Tacoma. I REALLY want to go and see him for the first time. I know he's 20 and I'm 15. I still have feelings for him, and he's starting to get his back for me. I told my parents that if I go see him, they are coming. Just to be on the safe side. But for some odd reason my mom is turning around and saying no.
I understand I am young, but hey I'm only going to be a kid ONCE. Who knows, this guy that I've known for almost a year, I might spend the rest of my life with him.
IF MY PARENTS SAY NO, I'M GOING TO MEET HIM EITHER WA

Like I said, either way, I'm going to meet him. With or without my parents concent. Hence, if they are coming or not.

LOVE ISN'T DEPENDABLE UPON AGE. He's only 5 years older then me.

I don't like him because he's has a band going (he's not in the band). I don't like him because he's extremly hot.

I'm sorry but if he is 20 and you are 15.... shame on him! You maybe are also caught up in the fact that a band member could be interested in you and that can seem exciting. But come on there is a big age difference here and that is wrong because you obviously feel more than friendship for him. The age difference won't be alright for at least another 5 or 6 yrs and what a waste of your young teenage yrs! If he is still around after you have gotten older and experienced your teens than great. Until then have some fun!! Your saying you will go ahead and meet him either way can be dangerous! Just because he is in a band that is going on tour does not mean he will be respectful to some underage girl that he already knows has the hots for him! Be careful please and listen to your parents! You might regret it if you don't.

In a way I can't blame you parents for not wanting you to go meet this guy if they know anything about myspace.com, they know it can be ok to meet people but also dangerous at the same time. If you met this guy and saw him and it was not what you expect then what would you do? I think your parents are looking out for your welfare and want you to be safe, since there are a lot of bad people in the world that don't care about much. On the other had I can understand that you want to meet this guy because he is in a band that you like and you have known him for quite sometime. If you meet this guy and get caught by your parents you have to be able to face whatever consequences come at you. Good luck.

I'm sure this guy has a girl like you in every city he is touring in. You're nothing special to him.
