You can have as many Dr as you want. Why would you want too?? You have one Dr so he has all your records and knows everything about you.

you should have one family doctor you go to,but you must always have another doctor to take a second opinion form.Because however competent and trustworthy a family doctor ma by,sometimes knowledge may fail him,and he might give wrong diagnosis definitely not deliberately.
the other person you consult should not be a family doctor, but someone who plays a neutral role,a doctor who isn't close to our family. In most cases you can ask your family doctor to suggest any doctor to consult or the family doctor can work in consonance with the external consultant.

I'm a nurse. Yes but I wouldn't recommend it. The reason is because one doctor might see something wrong and treat you for it that another doctor has no knowledge you were ever treated for anything. Have everything in one place for better treatment and care.

I think if you're doing to double up your prescriptions and not telling either doctor about the other one that's wrong. Most prescriptions are on computer now and should show up if the Dr searched to see if it is already prescribed.

It depends on the insurance company.. But why would you need more than one? Building a relationship with 1 dr is hard enough, more would be a real pain.

However if you want a diff dr for you, hubby and kids you can do that..We do...

You can have as many doctors as you are willing to pay for. If you are using health insurance to pay to pay medical costs, then only your insurance company can answer your question.
