this Thursday I am haveing an MRI. I was wondering If anybody knows about how long it will take for me to find out the results. I am kinda Anxious to know. Will they know before they leave the office Friday afternoon for the Christmas break. Please any information would be helpful. thanks alot. and have a great holiday.

The MRI is at 8:15 a.m. so that gives them all day to look at the results.

I'm a nurse. You must not be a hold and call. Ask the ordering doctor to give you your results the same day. It is possible and they can do it. You can be still there in the MRI office and have the tech to call the doctor with the results. Ask him.

In my experience, 48 hours. But with Christmas being on Monday, you might not get an answer until Tuesday. Ask them when you have the MRI and tell them how anxious you are! I hope you get the answer you want -- best of luck.

May take a few days for the results to come back. With the holdidays coming, it may take longer.

usually takes about a week if you don't hear anything in a week call them!! No news isn't always good news. My mom having cancer would have fallen through the cracks had she not called and gotten her results.
