Let's say we get 1000 Canadians and 1000 Danes on a giant online Halo (or similar war game) battle and the winner gets Hans Island. Sound OK?

A dispute about ice should be settled on the ice at a hockey rink. The winner takes all 1.3 sq km and pays the post game bar tab. Just to make the contest fair the Canadian women will play the Danish men. Both countries will share the box office from the event.

Sounds Great!!!!!!!! Do you think we could convince them to go through with it? They could televise it and sell tickets and even merchandise it. Have online bets. All the profits could go to the people of Hans Island. Make it 2 out of three games to extend the profits.

It's been in the news- some militant Canadian legislators are pushing for a fleet of armed icebreakers to patrol Canada's northern waters- as things warm up, more areas will be open for oil exploration, and they wouldn't want those sneaky Danes in on it.... google "armed icebreaker"
