Travel is a major part of my job, and Heathrow is a major airport, I have travelled all these routes several times. These are the times in ideal conditions, ie. no delays.

About 6 and 1/2 hours going over and about 5 and 1/2 hours coming back DUE TO THE TAILWINDS that flow to the west as you cross the ocean.

It is NOT 13 hours. 13 hours will get you to Calgary or Vancouver. It will take between 5 & 6.5 hours to get to Toronto.

I think the people saying 13 hours are either forgetting to include the time difference, or are just dumb
