The name YHWH, or pronounced Yahway, is the name by which God, the Creator introduced Himself to Moses, (Nabi Musa).
The meaning of YHWH is I AM WHO I AM. or I AM THAT I AM, meaning He is The Eternal, The Never Changing One.
The Jews only believe what is written in the Torah, or Old Testament, while the real Muslim will accept all the three books:
The Torah, The Injil (New Testament) and the Quran.
5: 69. Say, `O People of the Book, you stand on nothing until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what has now been sent down to you from your Lord.' And surely what has been sent down to thee from thy Lord will increase many of them in rebellion and disbelieve; so grieve not for the disbelieving people.

So according to this text, The Prophet Muhammad says that a good Muslim will observe the Torah and the Gospel (Injil) as well as the Quran which He sent down to them.

In Isaiah 45:21,22
21 Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the LORD?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.
22 “ Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.

This is exactly the same as written in Quran Surat Al-'Ankabut
29:47 29: 47. 'And argue not with the people of the Book except with what is best as an argument, but argue not at all with such of them as are unjust. And say, `We believe in that which has been revealed to us and that which has been revealed to you; and our God and your God is One, and to HIM we submit.'

So, according to the Torah and the Quran, there is only One True God, all the others are only gods, idols or ilah.

The Muslim call God by the name of Allah. The Jews uses the name "Eloh or Elohim" to call their God.

Then in the Torah, Isaiah 7:14, and Isaiah 9:6 we read
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel

6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
And in Luke 1:29-35
29 But when she saw him,[d] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

That is exactly the same as in Surat Ali Imran 3:45 and Surat-al Nisaa 4:171

Iz qaalatil-malaaa-ikatu yaa Maryama innallaaha ybashashi ru ki bi- Kalimatim minhus-muhul Masiihu Isabnu Maryama.

Yaa-ahlal-kitaabi laa tagluu fii diinikum wa laa taqauuluu alallah illal-haqq. Innamal-Masiihu Iisabnu- Maryama Rsuulullaahi wa Kalimatuh, alqaa-haa ilaa Maryamma wa ruulum-minh.

Behold! when the Angel said: O Mary! Lo! Surely Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him (of one) whose name is the Messiah. (Suat-al Imran 3:45)

O people of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion; not say of Allah ought but truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was an Apostle of Allah and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit proclaiming from Him (alimantan Minhu). (Surat-al NIsaa 4:171)

So you can see that the Jews reject Jesus the son of Mary, who is actually The Word and The Spirit of God, born by Mary as a virgin, through the power of God.

This truth is accepted by the Hanif Muslim and the true Christians. There are also false Christians who teach that Mary is the Mother of God, and should be worshipped. The True Christians will teach the same thing as it is in the Bible and in the Quran, There is Only One God!

Jesus Himself say that He and God, His Father is only ONE!

This Jesus, the Kalimatuhu, The Word of God, and the Spirit of God,

And according to John 1:1-3, This Word, Kalimatullah, created everything from the beginning.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

So actually it is clear from the above texts both in the Bible and in the Quran, that there is only one God, Allah, Yahway, Jehovah or Elohim. He is the creator of all. But when He came to this earth to reveal Himself to us, He, The Spirit of God (Ruhullah) and The Word of God(Kalimatullah), was born by a virgin to become man, so that we can see Him, and not die. That's why His name is also Immanuel, meaning "God came to dwell with human beings".

At the end of time, Nabi Isaiah also prophesied that there will be a remnant of the children of Ishmael, who are Hanif, and will accept the Messiah, or Almaseh Isa, together with the true Christians and true children of Isaac, who accept the Messiah.

Isaiah 60:6,7

6 The multitude of camels shall cover your land,
The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah;
All those from Sheba shall come;
They shall bring gold and incense,
And they shall proclaim the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you,
The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you;
They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar,
And I will glorify the house of My glory.

Notice the names Kedar and Nebaioth. They are two of the children of Ishmael, as recorded in Genesis 25:13-15.
13 And these were the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, 15 Hadar,[a] Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. 16 These were the sons of Ishmael and these were their names, by their towns and their settlements, twelve princes according to their nations.

Just as not all the Jews accept the Messiah and are true Jews, so are with Christians, not all are true Christians, and not all Muslims are true Muslims, but the Hanif Jews, the Hanif Christians and the Hanif Muslims will do God's will and be saved.

Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Lawlessness means not following the Law of God. True Christians will not murder, will not worship image, but will do all that God commanded us to do in The Ten Commandments and in His Word, the Bible!
And the true Muslims will also "observe" the words of God in all the three books: Torah, Injil and Quran.

Jews are monotheistic which means they believe in only one god whose name is YHWH (vowels unknown) but usually written as Yahweh.

Jews do not believe that Jesus was God or the only-begotten son of God. Simply put, they don't believe that Jesus was the Christ or Messiah. Christians, although supposedly monotheistic, believe in both Yahweh and Jesus. Jesus is usually believed to be God or a god also. To reconcile this conflict, the trinity doctrine is often used which combines Jesus the Son with God the Father into one godhead. Others, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, refer to Jesus as the Son of God and deny that Jesus is a god worthy of worship, although their own translation of the Bible at John 1:1 identifies him as "a god' and they themselves believe him to be "true".

I'm not familiar with the Muslim religion.

Yahweh.

Jesus was Jewish.

I don't know if you can touch him.

Islam -the Muslim religion- says Jesus was a false prophet, Mohammed's the real deal.

Jews and Christians believe in the same god. Jews use the Old Testament. Christians use both the Old and New Testaments.

What approximately Isaiah nine:6-7? Unto us a baby is given? This implies that the messiah shall be BORN. And his title shall be uncommon counselor, amazing god, permanent father? This implies that the messiah can be GOD. Will reign on "david's throne" (ie, king/messiah of the jews) for all eternity? Ditto.

The Jewish God is very similar to the Islamic God. He is one, and has no physical form. You can't touch him. He is all powerful, present everywhere, and deserving of praise. In fact, Judaism is closer to Islam than Christianity is.

Jews reject Jesus because Jesus was a man. Since God is not a man, and does not have physical form, he can't be God.

How hard is it to understand? The jews created yahweh and hoped for a messiah. Xians decided that jesus was him, but the jews were hoping he'd be more... manly. You can't touch god or jesus or allah or any of them b/c they are either dead or mythical.

Check out the wikipedia article. Since Hebrew doesn't have vowels, the YHWH of the "I AM THAT I AM" from Exodus comes out Yahweh. It's our best guess, but in a Jewish setting, the name is so holy, that in order to avoid "taking the Lord's name in vain," it is not even spoken. Yahweh is God, and Jesus is Immanuel, "God with us" (Isaiah 7.14, Matthew 1.23). That is why in Hebrews 4.15, it says that "we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses." God is relational. That is why we see Jesus repeatedly touching the sick (lepers no less), and dining with tax collectors and "sinners."

Yahweh is holy and unapproachable, except through a perfect intercessor, Jesus. In John 14.6, Jesus says, "No one comes to the Father except through me." Only through the high priest Jesus can we come to Jehovah.

Hope this helps.

Yahweh and Jehovah are two attempts at an English reading of יהוה‎ (the Tetragrammaton), God's name, as preserved in the original consonantal Hebrew Bible text.

These consonants read JHWH (in German transcription) or YHVH (in English transcription). It is common to use YHWH.

Jews do not pronounce the name, but use e.g. HaShem ("The Name"). When the Masoretes added vowel points to the consonant text to assist readers, they added the vowels for "Adonai" ("Lord"), the word to use when the Bible text is read. Also the Septuagint (Greek translation) and Vulgata (Latin translation) use the word "Lord" (kurios and dominus, respectively).

Per Strongs Dictionary:

3068 Yhovah yeh-ho-vaw' from 1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God:--Jehovah, the Lord.

Ex 3:15 Then God said once more to Moses:

“This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, ‘Jehovah the God of YOUR forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to YOU.’ This is my name to time indefinite, and this is the memorial of me to generation after generation.

Jehovah means, "He causes to become, or I shall prove to be" to use "I am" is a poor translation of the Hebrew,

Jesus means "Jehovah is Salvation" but we use Jesus, not the meaning of his name when we speak about him.

No you can not touch Him, Jehovah told Moses that to see him was to die.

Jesus is Jehovah's Son.

A prehistoric invader drove the Hebrews and Indo-Europeans out of the Caucasus Mountains in southern Russia. The Romans called him Jove, which in Latin was pronounced "Yo-way." The Hebrews called him "Yaw-way." The Greeks called him "ee-wo," or Io, a minor goddess who represented the scattering of the tribes after this Attila-like invasion. His name meant "Go and Went," or "Come and Gone," or "Let's get out of here, move it!"
