You won't like this answer, but trust me, I'm a water purification specialist.
Your tap water is FAR HEALTHIER than ANY bottled water on the market today. Tap water exceeds all standards for purified water, mainly because it is a public resource and is government tested.
Bottled water is simply monitored by the FDA. A large administration, but when it comes down to TESTING the water itself, and not just the means in which it is stored and packaged, the FDA doesn't do squat.
A rescent study revealed that 1/3 of all bottled waters failed to meet ANY purified water standards. For a comparison, here are the Army standards for drinking water:
Total Disolved Solids (TDS): less than or equal to 999. Tap water usually contains less than 1, but I have seen it go as high as 10.
Turbidity: measured in NTU's, must be less than 1 unit. Tap water is in the hundredths of units.
Ph Balance: Between 5.0 and 9.0. The perfect level is 7 (completely neutral). Most tap water is +- .5 from perfect.
The other two factors are color and chlorine. These two are important when purifying water in a foreign country or in the field with small equipment.
So, trust me, feed your plants, AND YOURSELF for that matter, with nothing but tap water.

Actually dirty water - like rain water or river water. My daughter did an experiment for her science fair and the plant fed the most pollutants grew faster and had deeper roots - soda killed the plant and bottled water only showed 1/3 the growth of the dirty water. Seems the lack of nutrients in the soda was the worst offender and the only benefit of the bottle was it was wet. Hope this helped!

it depends on the plant. Some plants like slightly acidic soil, others more neutral or base. Find a water soluble plant food (the label will tell you if it's the right kind for your plant or not), feed it regularly, and just use tap water. Don't over feed it or over water it, though.
