Bill ~
George Foreman was 45 years old and the oldest person ever to win the Heavyweight Championship of the World by knocking out Michael Moorer in the 10th round November, 5th 1994. In my opinion, given the current state of the Heavyweight division it shouldn't be too much longer before Chuck Wepner comes out of retirement with all the Rocky Balboa Hype and makes a run for the Championship (I'm just kidding)

There are no marque older Heavyweights other than Evander Holyfield fighting right now and he still has a few years to go before he hits 45, and I think if he's still fighting then, he'll have his license stripped and won't have a chance.

Thanks for the question Bill.

I believe that it was George Foreman when he won it 20 years or so after he won it the first time.

What people miss here is that Foreman is the oldest BOXING champion, in any division, at age 45
Second to him is Thulani 'Sugarboy' Malinga, at 42.

George Foreman was the oldest.

And I think that you can't be over 45 now because you could seriously get hurt! ANd all of the boxers know it and so does everyone else!!

If they have the talent, ability, punching power and size comparable to that of Foreman he could win it.

Santana D says it all.
THE REASON WHY IT MAY NOT BE BROKEN IS BECAUSE NO ONE WILL WIN AGAIN AT THAT AGE.
