For the past 2 1/2 to 3 weeks I have been having lower abdominal cramps like my period is coming but it never does. I just re-started my BC about a week ago after being off for about 2 months. Since I re-started the BC the cramps have gotten slightly worse but they're not severe and only happen about 2-3 times a day. They range from dull to painful and show up all times of the day or night. The pain does not wake me up a night and two pregnancy tests have come back negative. I have had more discharge than normal but it is clear & without an odor. I have not been spotting, nor do I burn or itch... what's going on?

P.S. I'm in a monogamous relationship & niether of us has been with another for at least 5 months.

Were you not instructed when to start the pills? You have temporarily messed up your periods. Give it a couple of months and next time start the pills at the proper time.

I think you are probably worrying too much, which could explain the cramps. If you are concerned about you health, see a doctor. It's too important to take any chances with.

Did you see a doctor to get back on the BC? I would talk to your doctor. They may need to change you to a different pill.
