I figure with enough preservative. Egg salad should stay "fresh".

Homemade is always the way to go, even though it is more work. I couldn't imagine CANNED egg salad tasting all that good.

Oh no it would not stay fresh and it would not be true egg salad. How would you like to eat scamble eggs that came out of tan. It does not sound very intriguing

Ew - canned egg salad. I wuold imagine it has to do with the processing - would probably make the egg whites rubbery and do sometihng nasty to the mayonnaise.

that sounds abit too much and i personally would not consumed egg salad in a can.does not sound safe to me
