He's being friendly and courteous. Its an old disease that has been cured for the large part, but often returns to afflict those in the modern workplace. It probably will not become the epidemic it once was.

Don't worry. From what I've read here, you seem quite immune to it.

If you feel that his saying "Hello" is harassing, first let him know in front of management and then if it keeps up, report it. If you are new to the workplace, he just might be trying to break the ice. I say "Hello" to the people that work for me to let them know that they Are people and that they do exist. If he is insinuating more than "Hello" by look or gesture, you really don't need that in your work environment.

I say hello to everyone because I like all people. He most likley likes you and what is the big deal about saying hello to people, try it and you wiil see that most people appreciate it.
