I wanted to build robots but have trouble finding a place to buy its components. I'm living in K.L. Where can I get a place which is near here that I can buy all my components? I'm looking also for a LM 386 IC.

The capacitor is regularly used in a format which acts to soft out changes in voltage; a potential grant clear out to illustrate. Or it is used to cycle a voltage interior of a particular term jointly with coming up a definite frequency in radio circuits. Resistors are present day proscribing, and voltage placing. They stop led's from burnout, or set the main appropriate bias voltage on transistors. Diodes rectify; take a wave sign and make it a DC point; in potential aspects to instruct mains right into a DC grant, in radio via fact the detector which produces the won sign.

Radioshack has them, but they're expensive. order via te internet.

Indicentally, the LM386 is an op amp. I think you're looking for a comparator, in which case the LM339 is often a batter choice when linked to PNP transistors
