ok this is what happened.
yesterday my mom stepped on my one cats (tiger) foot. she didn't see him hiding and was just tring to move out of my way. any way the cat did its cry and started to run off. my one dog (the mother of the pets) went to check on him and he started to hiss and attack her. so i grabbed her and pull her away. well at that point my other cat came in to the living room to see what was up. then tiger attacked HIM! so we broke it up. i put tiger in my room to give them space and lightly tapped him on the nose for attacking the other cat. i let him out later and he was doing ok. he was outside my door an di was starting to walk down the hall to open my door for him. the other cat (midnight) was sniffing the litter box. which is right outside my door. tiger just all of a sudden turns around and attacks him again! so in my room again he went. later i tired one more time to see if they both cooled down before bed. they were doing ok. so i helped mom with bringing in..

the clothes and they started it again. this time midnight started it. i made tiger sleep in my room. but they are still hissing at each other today. so i have been keeping tiger away from midnight. tiger is the one hissing but midnight is the one staring. so my mom said if they don't get back to normal we will have to get rid of them cause she don't want to have to keep them away from each other. anyway my question is what can i do? will they be ok? how can i make them get along?

What happened is that he is just scared and his paw hurts, which got him upset. He should calm down in a few days. I say this because when I got my cats declawed, one of them was hissing and growling at his brother(they grew up together and are very close). I know this was only because he was in pain and just didn't understand what happened to him. After about a week, he was back to his old self and enjoying his brother again. So please just hang in there and your cat will be fine.

Well.....
The same thing happened to my cat's once. If you think he's mad at one cat in particular then lock them in a room together. Put someone in the room to keep an eye on them. If they fight then let them fight. If it gets into a really bad fight then break it up.

You also maby should get a toy for the cat that is attacking the other pets so he can take his anger out on the toy.

Give him time to cool off. He should be fine in a few days

Also take to the vet to make sure that he is not in serious pain. You could have hurt him badly and he just doesn't feel good.

First Tiger gets stepped on and hurts, the dog is curious, Tiger still hurts and the curious dog is in his way (think of a kid who is mad and pushes his way past others) and you grab the dog instead (remember Tiger was the one hurt) and another cat who now comes to check out what's going on and Tiger's still hurting and now probably mad because you favored the dog so he attacks the cat since it's right there. Then you take poor Tiger who is now probably still hurting, mad because you favored the dog and now is getting blamed for the fight and gets tapped on the nose for it and put in a room by himself.......which all started by him being the victim. After being let out, he probably was still mad at the other cat (maybe you held and cuddled it after Tiger attacked him) and thought if he was going to get punished, it better be for something. I have 5 cats&1 dog-been there...I think all Tiger wanted was to be alone until the pain went away or be held and cuddled with a "poor baby...is your foot hurting? How about a treat for my baby to make you feel better.." instead others got in his way and like us when we hurt and others try to "help" we get mad too...cats just can't yell like us. Best to you all...don't give up. Cats have moods too...sometimes too human like. My Onyx is 50% moody around 3 of the other 4 at any time-hiss..slap....they know not to get to close.(90% for Zinger-don't know why..he's bigger but younger...but he sleeps with me every night so that could be why). None of the 5 are best friends, but they get along like all 6 of our daughters. Kids or cats it's the same. Poor dog though, thinks she's a cat! Best wishes!!!

if this just happened after the cat was stepped on i would say it is acting out because it is in pain get it checked out and try to keep him in a quiet place till the cat is well again could have cause some nerve damage and it may be a bit confused about the sensation or lack of sensation never can tell till u get him or her checked out hope it gets better soon

Cat turf fight put one in a kennel and put one out and rotate until they calm down.

Have you spayed and neutered these cats because that would help a lot.

So what do you need help with? He probably was in pain and was pissed at the world until he felt better. Heck, I've done that before!
