For a proper MANDARIN Chinese pronunciation, try 'dow duh jing'. I have several copies/translations of this Chinese classic. If you have the time and inclination, read some, ponder it, see if it applies to your life. Next to the bible, it is the most-widely translated book in the world.

If you are Dutch, Indonesian, Malaysian or any other nationalities and your native language is not English, then just read it as it is in your own language: "Tao Te Ching", what I mean is, the "T's" are not exploded. But if your native language is English, then you have to read it as "Dow Duh Ching"
