I have to pick a doctor from my insurance plan but I dont know what specialist to type in.

Went through this myself. An excellent general practitioner or internist. Fortunately, I was able to stay with my general practitioner. I've had bad luck with internists.

It sounds like you just want a general practitioner (regular doctor). A regular family doctor can then refer you to specialists.

An internist or an Internal doctor is how you get started, then he will refer you to any specialists if that's needed. The internist is also your prmary care physician for insurance purposes.
