Don't keep it in the freezer. The moisture from the ice crystals that will form will alter the flavor of the coffee. Best way to store it is in an airtight container in a cool place out of the light (if the container is clear). Enjoy your coffee.

Yes, freezer is best.
But even better is buy it not ground, keep that in the freezer and use a coffee grinder.
I usually buy it in 5 lb bags, keep it in the freezer except for a bout half a pound from which I grind it.
