Well I'll just let you know my personal experience w/ fast food and not drinking enuf water. Several years ago, I used to work at a fast food place and I got in the habit of eating fast food on an almost daily basis. I hardly ever drank water during that time either. I'd almost always grab for a soda. I became really sick after doing this for like 6 consecutive months. I started having digestive problems, which led to having to have my gallbladder removed, skin allergies and I had almost no energy. I can't say for sure if the fast food and not drinking enuf water caused all my problems, but all I know is that I was perfectly healthy before I started working there and started eating all that fast food, so u can decide if it's worth taking that risk. I wanted to add that before I started working at that fast food place, my diet had consisted of mostly home cooked meals.

I think about what I am eating is a living creature that used to walk, breathe, feel just like me all the time. I had even tried many times to stop eating meat but I couldn't because I literally felt weak after abstaining from it after a couple of days. I believe it's because meat does provide us with some essential proteins and nutrients. Meat and its products taste much better too and I simply couldn't resist it. What can we do, nature already comes with some animals, including humans, that go after others for their flesh for survival.

I don't know if I'll get graphic or gross, but I can tell you that you're wasting a LOT of money on fast food. If you spend about 8 bucks at your grocery store, you can make about 6 full meals that are not only MUCH betteer than fast food, but much better for you too. Some chicken drumsticks and a bag of potatoes, bread rolls and an onion will give you a TON of meals.

Well you don't have to go to the complete extreme (I am a salad junkie and love healthy food).

I made my diet healthy step by step. Firstly, I wanted to eat less meat, so for one meal a week I would not eat meat. Later it was 2 meals a week. After a while I would not eat meat maybe 1 a week at the most.

So, for example start bit by bit adding healthy alternatives to your diet. Maybe go for a bowl of Chinese noodles instead of a hamburger. Half the amount of meat you have for dinner. Have a banana instead of Oreos for a snack.

Don't just cut out meat or you will have health problems. Vegetarian food is very healthy if you make sure you eat the right things. Meat contains many things that are not easy to get just from fruit and vegetables.

Eating fast food is a 99 cents heart attack in a sack. You are eating nothing but wasted calories. All the fat content will eventually clog your arteries an cause you much grief. You need to drink water to keep your kidneys healthy, kidney failure is a painful miserable way to die. Eating meat isn't bad provided it's lean and not fried and in moderation.

So you don't die!!!!

Don't stop eating meat completely because your body needs protein. Fish and poultry are pretty healthy for you. Red meat takes years to digest. It sits in your colon turning black, giving you gas and making you fat.

As far as Fast food goes: Once I dropped a McDonalds french fry underneath the driver's seat in my car. When I found it again, it was two months later. It looked exactly the same. Tell me, what kind of potato do you know of that would not get moldy after two months? IT"S NOT REAL FOOD!!!!!!

Go watch the movie Super Size Me. Says a lot.

And no, meat does not sit in your stomach for years "turning black and rotting" like someone else wrote. Imagine if it did...we'd all be blocked up !

Aim for lean proteins - lean cuts of all types of meat (beef has iron).

For me - cost and grease is enough to avoid. Ok, and the fact that it's the salt that draws me to, say, McD's fries - the fries themselves (like much fast food) really doesn't have much taste - it's all in the condiments and toppings.

Ok ok. You asked for it.

If you keep eating fast food your arteries will clog up with FAT (LDL cholesterol) and blood won't be able to circulate and you'll die from a heart attack. Besides chances are your blood is dense due to the lack of liquid in your diet, so with you the risk is even higher.

Plus eating healthy food makes you feel good.
(Don't take my word for it, try it. You'll feel sort of "purified")
