my ex bf wished me a happy birthday and also said that part that i quoted above, but i dont understand what it means. the full message he sent me was "Happy birthday. hopefully you get everything you've asked for on your birthday and more than your innocence could anticipate"

It sounds like he is wishing you a happy birthday with an added bonus of sexual good luck.
Don't know if he is expecting to be the bearer of this pleasure or if he is thinking of you getting a birthday gift from your current BF.
He apparently thinks you are a virgin....because if you are you have no idea the joys that await you. BUT!!!! If you are in fact a virgin, don't be fooled into giving "IT" up to him or anyone else unless you are 100% ready to do so.
Guys will say or do anything to make you want to give it to them instead of someone else. But, your virginity is something special....so if you still have it, hold onto it until the time is right and you can be both safe and satisfied in the end.

This is a way of wishing that "adult" things will happen to you on your birthday. It implies that you are now naive. It is a very strange birthday greeting from a boyfriend.
