How do you tell a guy that you like him, without him looking at you weird or whatever?

Well I like this guy in one of my classes, and well we have been friends for a long time. But I always liked him more than a friend. And well he likes one of my friends my I know she's not the one so how can I tell him, without losing our friendship.

you don't tell him you like him you just make it obvious by inviting him out. say something like "hey want to goto the show this weekend?"
if he likes you beleive me he'll let YOU know.
