Depends on the options you want. Satellite may give more Channels for your money, but, cable may have good package deals on TV/Internet. You need to look at what you feel you want from all this.

Hi,

I recommend Satellite. Why? After the installation you are home free. Sound, picture quality and price. Also The cable infrastructure is 30 years old. Your signal is traveling hundereds of miles on 30 year old cables that have been spliced, water logged and laying underground.
With Satellite if you notice signal degredation you can monitor your signal stregnth right from your set. And make corrections as you like.

You should be able to pick-up the same stations that everyone else watches on satelite. I had satelite once and had no problems with connections though if you want HD sevice I would go for cable.
