The Bible is clear. We are saved by repenting from sin and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. I'm not certain what you did that made you believe you may have denied God. I cannot detect anything that you said in your note that would indicate denial, perhaps only some misunderstanding. However, if you are concerned, pray about it. Ask God to forgive you. He will, that is what he does.

1st, What did you do to deny him?

2nd, It takes more than belief to be saved. You are required to hear Christ preached, believe that Jesus is the Christ and son of the Living God, repent of your past sins, Confess your belief, be Baptized and live Godly.

Yes, you will still be tempted and still struggle with sin after you are saved, but thorugh the blood of Christ we can be forgiven once we have done what he asks of us. The only sin that one cannot be forgiven of is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (denying what the spirit offers and is able to accomplish).

Read the book of Acts for examples of people converted, yes there was belief, but it took more than that. When you do read an act of conversion or a verse where it states to believe and you will be saved (or something similar) pay close attention to who they are speaking to and what that person may have already done before he was told to believe. If you truly read and search you will find the truth. Ephesians speaks of one church, one god, one baptism, etc. This also goes against everything we have in the work today (i.e. denominations, acceptance of every type of religion, etc). There is one true church and that is the church of Christ (how it was called in the Bible). Be careful though because there are some groups out there that call themselves "church of Christ", but are nothing more than another denomination. Good luck, continue to read and keep your heart open.

Salvation does not come from believing in God. The Bible says we must repent of sin and then put our trust in Christ to save us.

The "unforgivable sin" (blapshemy of the Holy Spirit) or denying that God exists is not a transgression against God than is unforgivable. It is not a one time act, but a continuous denial of God. As long as you are alive you have a chance to be saved. As long as you are alive you have a chance to repent and put your trust in Christ.

Please examine yourself to see that you are in the faith.

Go here and take this test. Your eternal salvation may hang in the balance.

First of all yes you have to believe with all of your hearts and soul that Jesus died on the cross for your sins then you must confess your sins ,you must confess that you know he died on the cross and aross the third day so that you can have everlasting life (salvation so you can go be with him in heaven someday for those of you reading this and may not understand what im talking about),ask him to forgive you of your sins, then you have to ask him to enter into your heart and to give you everlasting life. Then after that you need to pray and read your bible daily so that you will grow spiritually. If you felt a real strong urge to pray and ask for forgiveness and meant it from your heart and you did all of the above then yes you are saved. So congradulations and welcome to the family of God.Sometimes satan trys to put doubts in our heads so we wont be a good witness for Christ so hang in there but if you still have doubts talk to a minister about it and ask others Christains to pray with you have them to pray that if you arent really saved for God to give you a sign and that he will burden your heart so heavily about it that you wont be able to resist him.Heres a little something I do when im seeking an answer from god I'll pray about it and ask him to let my bible just fall open to the answer .Heres what you do just hold your bible in your hands and let it fall open then read those scriptures. This method has really helped me alot and sometimes i even have others to do that with me so that there is no question about it you'll be amazed at how all ofthe scripture will be basically the same but worded a little different with everyone you chose to do that with.

Hey man, God wants you. I felt like you do once and I was freaked out for a while. Then I started reading my Bible again. I felt like that because I had not been living like God wanted me to. Now, understand that we don't get to heaven by being good, we can't be good enough for God. All we have to do is believe that he sent Jesus to die for us and that salvation is a gift. This, however, does not mean that we can now go do whatever we want since we're going to heaven anyway. God still wants us to do what the Bible says, that's not what gets us to heaven, but we should still do it because it's the least we could do to thank God for such a great gift. I know all this can be kind of confusing. Read the Bible and keep praying. It was about two months before I felt right with God again, so be patient. That's a very good question.

You are saved by wanting to make Jesus Lord in your life which means he will be there for you day in and day out. You did not deny him!!

YOu know why I know? Because God says in the Bible that he loooks at your inward appearance. He knew the thoughts of the Pharisees and he saw in the heart of the Centurion, the woman at the well.

God even understood the heart of Peter when Peter denied Christ. And Peter was the one who the church was later built upon. Why could God do that, because God knew that Peter had his doubts and his concerns. At that point, Peter was fearful and God knew Peter really did not want to deny Christ. So God used that experience to draw Peter closer to Him. Look in contrast at Judas Iscariot who sold Christ over to the Romans and then later Judas killed himself out of remorse. The difference is that Peter drew from his experiences to learn how to do things right. And that's what God wants for you. Learn from this experience and grow in your relationship with God.

So, as long as you want that relationship with Jesus and grow and develop in your relationship with God, don't worry about what others think. It's all between you and God.

Salvation is alone in Jesus Christ- not just saying "oh there is a god" --but by believing in what Jesus did on the cross and repenting of sin, following Him. It is then that you are sealed with the Holy Spirit, see Ephesians 1.

It is through Jesus Christ ( who is God) but one must hear the gospel and receive it, in order to be saved- for as Romans 10:17 says "Faith comes from hearing and hearing the word of God"

-That is the gospel of Jesus Christ- to believe that He died and rose again, defeating death so that those who believe would be set free from sin and hell and given eternal life with Him...

First, people aren't saved by believing in the existence of God. Jesus said "You do well to believe: the devils also believe, and tremble." Satan very much believes in God, but he will not make it to Heaven.
Also, remember that Peter denied Christ, not once, but 3 times! Jesus knew he would do this, and prophesied about it, but still said that "upon this rock (Peter) will I build my church."
We all slip up, but "Where sin doth abound, grace doth much more abound." Just make sure you're Biblically saved by believing in Jesus Christ and calling upon Him by name, confessing your sin and asking Him to come into your heart and save you. Then remember to live your life as a true Christian: souls hang in the balance.

You worry too much. Just make sure that when you pray to GOD that you do this in Jesus's name. People are saved when they commit a sin and they are truely sorry for doing it and ask GOD for forgivness. Those people who continue to sin and apologize and keep doing the same old things over and over again, they won't be saved. We must accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and acknowledge that he truely is the son of GOD. Pray to GOD and make these things that you are worried about known. You will feel really good afterwords due to the answer you will recieve. Good luck and GOD bless you.
