I live in a very small house.
Rather, I want her to entertain herself.

You could buy her one of those toys that you can stick peanut butter or dog treats inside. They go nuts trying to get it out, and it usually takes them a few hours!

Oh she can entertain herself anywhere, chew a hole in the bed rip the cushions off the couch how about chewing through walls and scratching up doors? I have seen it all being a pet sitter.
You dont ever leave a dog to fully entertain themselves or they can get carried away. You need to concentrate on exercise mainly, or play a game of fetch with herto help wear her out, we use a squishy ball for indoor play and go out to the garage for playtime when its wet outside.

Why can't she go outside? No walks or runs daily?

Unfortunately, dogs who are left to entertain themselves usually find things to do that their owners don't appreciate.

You can't play with her? Get her a buddy? I live in a small house too and I have 2 dogs. They keep each other company and out of trouble.

Live4him2634, where I come from it's a Kong, not Dong. LOL!!!!

I have 2 large dogs, and when they are stuck in the house, we play hide and seek with them. We hide, and call for them, they come looking for us. They love this game.

You should also get a kong. It is a rubber chew toy with a hole on the middle. You put peanut butter or dog treats in the hole, and they get them out. It entertains my dogs.

She should be ok in inclement weather unless she is a little tiny chiuaua or something. Dogs are different than humans; they can stand much more. My Newfoundland loves to go sit in the snow.

Try ahvig a dong ball (found at you local pet store) an dfill it with treats. She will enjoy trying to get the treats out of it. I realy works. Also, see if she likes the rain adn let her out to play. Just have warm blankets adn a nice fire when she comes in.

dogs live in the wild, and should be allowed to exercise OUTSIDE even in the harsh weather. it is PEOPLE who think they can't go outside in the rain/cold. (are you the wicked witch of the west? you won't melt.)

however, a plethora of toys should keep her mind and mouth occupied until the weather has lifted. keep in mind that the longer you wait to exercise her, the more trouble/mischief she'll get into inside!

Sing and dance for your dog. That should entertain her.
