I have been suffering from the same thing. I went to see a NMD, which is a naturopathic medical doctor. He starts out with natural remedies and only prescribes regular medicines when all else fails. I have been doing mind/body work with him, he has put me on St. Johns Wort liquid 3x a day (10 drops) and I have been sure to take all my vitamins every day (especially calcium, magnesium, B complex, Omega 3 fatty acids, CoQ10Enzyme and Vitamin C). I have cut sugar almost completely out of my diet as well as caffeine. Unfortunately, my panic attacks were getting unmanageable and for the holidays he has put me on a tranquilizer called Lorazepam. I only need half the tablet because I am very sensitive to drugs. The good thing about this tranquilizer is that you can still function just fine and its temporary. I will not be medicated permanently. I just need to get through this rough patch. Valium renders you useless. If you need an antidepressant, try St. Johns Wort. You can even take it more often than 3 times a day when having a crisis moment.
If you can, take some time to meditate or do yoga stretching. You need quiet time to focus on positive things. The more negative you feel, the more negative is attracted to you. I know its hard to do, but you should do it.
If you want alternative care that works, I would suggest going to this website and finding a Morter doctor. They will list ones in your area. Try to find one that is a DC too. They can help where regular doctors cannot and they will help you fix this problem permanently. I speak from experience. www.morter.com and find a practictioner. The DCs are often covered by insurance because they are also chiropractors.
I wish you peace and love.

Most of the above are good answers. Exercise does release natural endorphins, and it is one of those miracles that are naturally relaxing. If you want natural, that is the way to go. There are some great programs online, to learn more about walking and jogging, check out halhigdon.com.
As for natural remedies, the prob is you never know how your body will respond. St. John's Wort is great, but it can have adverse effects if you have other issues (especially females). I would not take anything without the supervision of a physician. There are MD's out there that like to use alternative medicines.
The other thing to remember, try positive self-talk. It is okay that you are stressed, there are stressful things happening to you. Stress can come from both positive and negative situations. Getting ready for a vacation can be stressful. Allow yourself to be, rather than fighting it. Fighting against your own thoughts and feelings will also have adverse effects of frustration and becoming negative towards yourself (everything turning inward). It sounds as if you are trying to keep your family together through these stressful times. You are like many other moms out there. If you are in a large town, there are support groups that possibly have parents of children who are terminally ill.
Third, be proactive. Learn about your child's illness, educate her, and remember that your husband is going through these things too. The other thing to remember is that your child is going through this also. Do not allow this to consume her and your family. SHow her who she is through activities and fun. This may secondarily release some pressure, and you may forget she is sick for a moment.
Maybe you two would benefit from supportive counseling, either Christian counseling through your church or private. Insurance often covers marriage counseling.
You have to take care of yourself first before you can be strong enough to take care of others. If you run down into the ground, who will be there for your family? So, yes these things I mentioned take extra time, but do you have a choice? If you structure your day in a manner that will allow for these things, then it is possible. Just remember your husband is in it too, and the thing you have in common is that you both love your children. I am sure he is hurting too. Ask him if he would like to do some of these things with you. You are not in this alone, and sometimes, when we are really low we LIKE to think we are in it alone. It is a trick we play on ourselves. Misery loves miserable company.

Go and do something fun. Go have a massage, get your hair done, or get a manicure. Sometimes you need to step away from the situation. What would you tell someone who asked the same question? In order to take care of everything in your life, you first have to take care of yourself. Find an outlet, go to a friend and vent. If you need to, go out in your car and scream.

The best way to calm the nerve is by drinking chamomile tea its a very very good tea for nerves; trust me i been through it all and it wont hurt to just try; ones you start taking anti-depressant it means you doctor thinks your crazy, so just stop taking those pills and drink about 2 cups a day and you will notice the difference in about a months time. Please try it, it does work.
