Does anyone know the procedures with any banks for RAL. Serious answers only. Thanks

As others have suggested, if you do your own taxes, you can't get a RAL. They are only offered if your return is prepared (or at least filed by) a service that has an agreement with the bank.

I suggest you go to HR Block or Jackson Hewitt. They will do the return and get you the RAL. If you can wait that long for the 2006 return, then I suggest you wait 3 or 4 more weeks to get the refund directly from the IRS and save on the relatively high fees from Block or Hewitt.

The procedure ? are you setting up a tax prep firm to offer RALs
RALs are Refund Anticipation Loans. The tax preparer offers you a loan on your tax refund. Bank charges and application fee charges dont make this worth it IMO. a loan for 11-17 days? just wait and do direct deposit.
