Don't be overly loud to compensate for his quietness. Ask him about himself & go into detail. Find out what his interests are. Especially DON'T ask questions that could just have a "yes" or "no" answer, because if he's shy, that might be the only thing he'll give you. Help him open up slowly.

The best way to approach anyone shy is to be nice. Most people have a reason for being shy and it may be that he doesn't know how to speak to people. So, try to get to know him and be friendly. Once you become friends or he knows you better, he will open up more and be less shy. I think the best thing to do is go the friendly way and just hi, and then start a conversation that will help you get to know each other better.

If the guys is shy you should go up and talk to him and than he problem go out with you?

talking to a guy who's shy is easier than talking to a guy who's too proud of himself (=a normal guy lol) so it's even better, you can easily talk to him about anything instead of spending hours trying to find something that's worth talking about and when you won' be afraid to ask him his number! good luck...

Like approach and talk to him, when he is present among his friends. This way he wudnt feel awkward, when a single girl approaches him alone. Talk to him, ask him wat he likes , dislikes. Try to get to noe him better, and carry on t converstation based on t common points or interests both of yourll share
