think about it...95% of Americans wouldnt even know what to do in a situation like that. my guess is the only people that would survive are hillbillies/rednecks and of course the rich politicians....but most of us would be killed due to never having to deal with war in our own backyards...we have lived way to sheltered (not that,thats a bad thing) but if poo ever hit the fan here,and the enemy reached our soil (say the chinese army) most of us wouldnt make it...

and for the guy who said we have the biggest millitary,WRONG!!! china has the biggest by far walking army...and yes we have nukes but if they reached our shores,we wouldnt drop nukes on ourtselves...duhhhh

I don't know about that. Certainly there would be a large number killed shortly after the attack, but Americans are known for being incredibly resiliant and hardheaded. When you think about it, most of the country is back country with the exception of the coasts and the occasional big city.

Of course I'm here in Texas and shot my first rifle at age four and have enough guns to hold back the entire N. Korean army. lol. Don't worry, Texas and Oklahoma will save them city folk.

You know, all the survivalists (including yourself, it seems) always want to think they know everything about what they'll do in a situation like this. You want to know the truth? The truth is, anyone who gets caught in that situation has a similar fate to his or her neighbors. It doesn't matter if a person tries to move out, or if they try to buy some kind of weapon and wait it out. You're going to get caught, no matter what kind of Bruce Willis hero you think you are. Wars aren't action movies. When chaos happens, there are no rednecks and politicians. Everyone is the same.

It would take alot for any Nation to all of a sudden deside to invade America and take the place over or kill everyone or whatever you think they spend thier time wanting to do. That would be even if America didn't have 10,000 nuclear missiles and it's military that is bigger then the rest of the world put together in fire power.

Well my friend call me what you will, be it a redneck,hillbilly,inbreed,or what. I'm an old fashioned country boy that can provide for my family. I can hunt, fish, and build a shelter. There are plenty of logging territories across the U.S. that have several thousands of acres that would be perfect to retreat to in a time of need such as that, but lets all hope and pray that it will never come down to such a horrible thing as that.
