If it's really bothering you go and see your doctor and they may give you a blood test to make sure you don't have a hormone problem. However, growing facial hair is very common and it's perfectly normal for women in their twenties to suddenly develop dark hair. Your doctor may give you medication called Dianette which is a form of the contraceptive pill but also reduces the amount of testosterone in your body which causes the dark hair growth.

I would say either wax or dye the hair. Plucking distorts the hair growth so the hair grows back thicker, darker and quicker due to increased blood circulation at the root of the hair caused by plucking.

But don't worry, millions of women have this problem, it's a lot more common than you think! ;-) xxx

Permanent hair removal involves several imperfect options. A number of methods have been developed that use chemicals, energy of varying types, or a combination to target the areas that regulate hair growth. Permanently destroying these areas while sparing surrounding tissue is a difficult challenge.

Permanent hair removal

Electrolysis
Permanent hair reduction

Laser (Does not permanently remove all hair, but does reduce the amount of visible hair)
Flashlamp (also called Intense Pulsed Light or IPL)
Epilight
Lasting hair inhibition for many (requires continuous use)

Prescription oral medications
A new method of epilation is to use enzymes that inhibit the development of new hair cells. Hair growth will become less and less until it finally stops, normal depilation/epilation will be performed during that time. Products include the presciption drug Vaniqa (active ingredient eflornithine hydrochloride inhibiting the enzyme ornithine decarboxylase).

Don't be embarrassed. LOTS of women have them. You will find hundreds of "cures" at the drug store. If you want permanent, laser is the only way to go, but it's expensive.

If they are soft and light, leave them alone. You probably notice them more than other people do.

If they are really dark you can buy facial hair bleach to lighten them, but be careful if you are dark skinned.

I have heard you shouldn't pluck them, but I have never been told why. If it's just a few, I can't see the harm.

You can always wax, but if it's not the bad, at your age I wouldn't worry about it.

Hair naturally grows on humans in general as a protective system...
Meaning whichever way you choose to get rid of your unwanted hair make sure it doesn't stimulatethe skin underneath it as minimum as possible...
For example plucking out hair will naturally cause this part to grow denser hair in that area, basically I don't have the perfect answer but I'm recommending caution since you want to prevent this not know how to get rid of the hair...So treat your skin as sensitively as you can

hmm its normal for women to grow facial hair and i know i get self concious like that too. but if you pluck them they grow in darker and thicker so the best way to get rid of them is try waxing. be careful not to do it too often or too hard. it ll work if u waz the hair

Pluck them out and also have a blood test to check your hormones. Chances are you have no health rpoblem, but just in case.
