David is right. In old days a child born this way was said to be blessed with psychic abilities and was special.

Is that like when the baby is born with part of the amniotic sac stuck to its head? Didnt they used to think that meant something special back in the day and the midwives would stick it in a jar and the family kept it?
Thats the only thing i can think of... lol.

I was born with a veil over my face. I grew up knowing things that I shouldn t and see things. I see ghosts, hear them and get touched by them.. I know when something is wrong and about to happen.. It s something that not everybody knows on what I can do.. Cause I don t want anyone to pick on me and make fun of me.. Some people are cruel to people like me..

The amniotic sac is attached to the baby at birth. Some people believe if it is over the face it is a sign the child is psychic(Sp)

This is not that common is often seen when the water hasn't broken till pushing and pushing happens quickly or in premature babies. The baby is born in the sac that it grew in in utero not normally dangerous very interesting to see.

believe its also called a caul, the amniotic sac clinging to the infant as its born.
