I'm guessing the gasp didn't help! Having said that, however trendy they think they are, a hairdresser's job is still to do what the client wants. So, she was clearly a rubbish hairdresser.
My advice would be to go back and tell the manager how unhappy you are and demand that it be fixed by someone talented.

Could be, C.J. I once had a hairdresser that looked like a very low budget street walker with hair she cut herself with a knife and fork. But I suppressed my horrified gasp and gave her a beaming smile. I kept on smiling even when she told me about when she had nits as a child and I kept on smiling even when I left the salon with Shirley Temple ringlets looking like a complete TIT. Eventually she left (too weird for the other clients) and I haven't had a bad one since. So write it down to experience.

She's obviuosly just a bad hairdresser and unprofessional to boot. Phone up the hairdressers and say that you're really not happy with your hair and they should offer to fix it for you free of charge.
Make sure you get a different girl to do it though hehe

I know this may sound harsh... but if you don't like the style of the person you are trusting with your hair don't go out on a whim....... Even if it's the look of her face... or shoes, or shirt... that may be mean but hey your gut tried to tell you something and you didn't listen. All All ... I don't think it was the gasp... I think it was her skills

Methinks it was due to a poor colour job.
However, its just like when you go into a restaurant and, if you send the food back and you've been horrid about it, they spit in your food or add other things to it from their bodily secretions.
Same applies to hairdressers. They won't wee or spit on you but they have access to sharp scissors, chemicals and very hot GHD's...
Go and get it redone methinks hun. But just keep smiling... :)

There is no excuse for her lack of professionalism. Her job is to do people's hair the best she can and not get personal with her scissors. On the other hand you shouldn't have went to her if you felt she was unkept and a freak of nature. Next time I would suggest, keeping your negative comments (or facial expressions) to yourself and go to a beautician who you respect.

er no she should have done your hair with a professional attitude, if i were you i would go back and say that you are just not happy with what you have paid for. they should fix it because you may go back if they deal with it properly....wether you do or not, they dont want bad publicity and word of mouth is the best form of advertising!! so just say that you would not recommend them to anyone! then dont ever go there again. x
