Well on Sunday I got a new puppy.But there are two problems with the new puppy htat is that I don't have a name for him(it is a male dog).So if any one has a name for him or know a site please tell me I will appreciate.Well the puppy is a is mix.The mother is Pittbull and the dad is Ruttweiler.Please Help with the name.
And the other thing that I have a problem with it is that he doesn't want to sleep in its bed he wants to sleeep in my bed.and if I don't put him in my bed he willstart to cry and cry.Last night he cried for like 2 hours until I had to bring him to bed with me.He does get along with my other two dogs so that is not the problem.PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get him is own basket with a blanet on the floor beside your bed.
Wear an old shirt for an hour then put it in there too so he can have your scent.
Bruiser is a good name for him.

You have to stick it out on the crying/whining and NOT remove puppy from the crate unless it's for a "potty run" which is going to need to be addressed in the middle of the nite until puppy is old enuf to hold it thru the nite (4-6 months of age for this).
Taking puppy out when whining and it's not for the need to potty only rewards him for the behavior. When you do take puppy out to potty in the middle of the nite (and you'll have to do this each nite for a while, just like infants need nite time care), be sure not to interact, play, cuddle or anything with puppy so that puppy understands coming out at nite time is for potty only and nothing else. Then puppy goes right back to crate when done with going potty.

Hey there. If the dog is really and truly not allowed to sleep in your bed, then you need to cover his crate and ignore him. You need to decide now if it's OK for the pup to sleep with you, or not. Since you rewarded him for crying last night he will cry a lot more tonight when he's crated - cover the crate and ignore him when he does this.

Well about ur puppy behavior can be train. I do have dog, he is very smart, brave and cute. Its name is 'Johnny', even that is very common. But my dog helps me a lot and uncountable. i dont know what type it is, usualy the army used this type of dog for training.
So why not you name its Johnny too...??

if you creat train him he will get use to his own bed it will just take time. a few sleepless nights for you though. I like ironic pet names, and he sounds really sweet, so i would go with something like Meany, I also name pets after my favorite hockey players. Just an idea

Name his champ or champion..try putting something of yours in the crate with him at night that might help
