They supported it on the basis that they thought it was right. However, they lacked the "no matter what" mentallity; they were willing to see others give their life for the war and the country, but didn't want to cash their own checks. Sure, they support it, but only as long as they don't have to fight in it.

This war was the result of a lot of rabble rousing and now the rabble sees they were wrong and now have become like all rabbles before them fair weather friends who disappear when the going gets tough. Thanks conservative radio rabble rousers thanks FOX NEWS for pushing this pointless wasteful costly war that we won't and can't win! I hope they appreciate the blood they have on their hands but I doubt it they are very good at ignoring the obvious.

We always say. "I/we support our troops".

We never said, "I support the troops to recruit my loved ones".

We never misled anybody, Kapish! :)

If I explain it differently, for example, look at the Republican criminals - when they are caught and get sent to jail, they cry to the judge to be liberal in sentencing!
