hes ok, but I prefer the other guy. Should I hold on to my current BF while working at the other guy. How should I approach this? Break it up before pursuing the other guy or play the game?

C'mon, you know the answer. Anyone with a shred of decency in them would break up with the current boyfriend before trolling for a new one.

Of course, then you risk that the new one won't be interested and you'll be stuck with no one but, hey, that's the risk you have to take.

It's plain wrong, wrong, WRONG to be leading this current boyfriend on, letting him think that your'e his girlfriend, when you're manuvering with this other guy on the side.

So if you don't have the guts to let this current boyfriend go, then quit looking for someone better.

Though, in truth, you should break up with this current boyfriend even if you don't have someone else in mind because, if you're looking to "move up," then obviously you don't love and respect him. It'd be kinder of you to turn him loose so he can find a woman that can treat him right than to keep him and break his heart down the road.

Yes, break it off with your current boyfriend first.
It is the only decent thing to do, you have your self-respect to think of too.
Then you are free to chase down the other guy with no trailing baggage.
